Fallen Protector
Hold the door!
Death is reaching near
Hold the door!
Evil comes walking here
Hold the door!
Against the long night
Hold the door!
Stand ground and fight
Hold the door!
Resist the chilling dark
Hold the door!
Sorrow's home is stark
Hold the door!
Heroes pay harsh penalty
Hold the door!
Sacrificed to cold destiny
Hold the door!
Forced to succumb
Hold the door!
Winter Has Come
Mankind Falling
how can he see
the dead approach
in waves of
blue eyed Devils?
he's got no eyes
to see the onslaught,
but the strength
of a martyr
stays ice and death
when there are no
dragons to melt the frost.
the orphan snakes
across the snow,
lost in the days
that led to darkness.
all the world waits
for the bastard
to trace the curves
of a queen.
but the boy,
he remembers the giant,
whose flesh feeds the dead.
a girl prepares the blade
that will bleed the world.
if there is no tomorrow,
these are the days of glory.
Hold the Door Wide
Hold the door outspread wide
allow life to smack on its frame
bare your bosom to cacophony
of the wind rattling your soul
let the rain moisten your face
awaken to virgin existence
light shining through, unfurled
like a soaring kite in flight
free and unfettered in air
opening mind to renewal.
Hold The Door
And just before you step out of my life,
Pause for a moment just before it is shut tight
Let the pleasant memories flow in,
For a moment - Hold the Door!
Before you walk away from the stage,
Reprise ... the melodies you played,
Let your melodies soothe the broken hearts,
For a moment - Hold the Door!
You shut the book and give up to read,
Walk out on education, Life should be fun, indeed.
Before you shut out learning to drugs,
Pause for a moment - Hold the Door!
Many a times in life, you will make decisions,
Come across failure and have your grievances
But give yourself a moment before you give up,
Just in case you want to try once more,
So think for a moment - Hold the Door!
Wait for me.
"Hold the door for me a bit longer"
A girl shouted as she stood on the window ledge.
Don't close the door
Don't walk away
Hold it a bit longer.
Hold it a bit tighter.
Lead me to the white cloudy fields
Make the journey painless and quick
Don't let me parents know i left.
Don't tell the doorman where I'm going
Don't let them see me as i walk through the door that's always held open.
Imaginary space
They say
I’m a fake,
just a
piece of art
slung on
a postcard
like some
seaside tart.
The say the
human race
can’t see galaxies,
the moon’s
shadowed grace,
and all the
earth’s nations
spinning from space.
They also say
the world is flat
but really it’s too
curved for that.
(If you think
of it as squished
at the poles, it’s
actually an ellipse.)
OK if you look
at me carefully,
I guess you
will see an
imagined eclipse.
But then
you’ll be
picking nits
like all the
Facebook hits
taking advantage
of equality
to challenge
my reality.
Hold the door,
open your heart,
in your damn
science is there
no room for art?
If I wasn’t
really seen
from the
International
Space Station
I should
have been.
Congratulations
to the
unknown arters,
devil take
the `realists’
and carpers.
