I, Armand Chascour, hereby swear the following to be true and accurate to the best of my ability and knowledge.
On December 29, 2016, at 8:05 a.m., I dialed 867-5309. A male voice said "Hello?" I said "John Doe?" The male voice said "Yes?" I said, "Mr. Doe, my name is Armand Chascour and I am employed as a paralegal at Dewey Cheatam & Howe. My employers represent Jane Doe in the matter of Jane Doe and John Doe." Mr. Doe terminated the call.
On December 29, 2016, at 8:10 a.m., I dialed 876-5309. A male voice said "Yes?" I said, "Mr. Doe, please let me give you notice of tomorrow's hearing." Mr. Doe said, "What hearing? You can't just schedule a hearing." I said, "Allow me to give you the details." I introduced myself and gave the case number of the matter of Jane Doe and John Doe. I said, "This matter is set for ex parte hearing on December 30, 2016, at 8:00 a.m., in Department R16." Mr. Doe said, "I'll be at work." I said, "Mr. Doe, please let me give you notice of tomorrow's hearing." Mr. Doe said, "Ok." I said, "Thank you. Hearing is set in Department R16, Superior Court of California, County of San Bernardino, located at 1234 Fifth Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga, California." Call was terminated.
On December 29, 2016, at 8:30 a.m., I dialed 867-5309. A male voice said, "Hello." I said, "Mr. Doe, I am calling to give notice of tomorrow's hearing." Mr. Doe said, "Oh hey my phone dropped." I introduced myself and gave the date, time, and location of the ex parte hearing as stated above. Mr. Doe said, "Ok so why?" I said, "At this ex parte hearing Jane Doe will seek an order denying Richard Doe visitation of the minor child Madison Doe." Mr. Doe said, "She can't do that." I said, "That is the order being sought. Did you need me to repeat any part of this notice?" Mr. Doe said, "Yeah, all of it." I repeated notice as stated above. I said, "My employer asks if you intend to oppose the order?" Mr. Doe said, "Maybe." I said, "Thank you." We hung up.
