Blending
There are no solid colors in this world
Where there once was a solid red, bleeding out from you
Now it’s crimson
Deep, hateful, violent crimson
Or is it carmine with a touch of vermillion?
Who knows? The lines are blurred and blended
Where there once was a solid yellow, fueling the sum
Now it’s canary
Brilliant, sunny, alive canary
Or it is honey with a hint of pineapple?
Who knows? The lines are blurred and blended
Where there once was a solid blue, rocking the oceans
Now it’s azure
Cold, unforgiving, lonely azure
Or it is sapphire with a dollop of tiffany?
Who knows? The lines are blurred and blended
We attach letters to attach meanings to attach differences
But there are no meanings to this abstraction of emotion
No two colors are the same in this world
No red is as deep as the blush of her cheeks
No yellow is as bright as the radiance of his smile
No blue is as sorrowful as his final words
The warm walnut brown of your eyes,
Reminds me of fall.
The winds, the rain, the cold,
And the comfort of hiding from it all.
But when I see you work,
When you're lost in thought.
They darken into a chocolate shade,
Which I find hot.
And the best of them all,
Is when you laugh to a joke of mine.
They turn to a brunette
Full of a hopeful shine.

Swirling.. Messing up with the universe and giving away a canvas to paint.. For the entire world.. I’m Black. I’m the absence of colors or am I the presence of no one in me?
Is that why they call me darkness..? But I’m not. Believe me. I have depth just like anyone else.. I’d like to believe that I am a color that is colorful.. Has a history and a future..
But.. My radiance.. My ecstasy gets broken everytime I find myself being referred to as depression.. The darkest pit.. The death.. Why? I haven’t done anything that bad to you?
Look at me in the streaks of Kohl bordering the eyes of desire.. Find me in the shady nooks.. Right under a tree in crazy heat.. See? I am your respite. And when you close down for the day, your eyelids drooping to invite sleep through the doors.. I sashay through the iris and into your mind.. It’s because of me that you have sweet dreams and a good night’s sleep.. ( Sorry for the nightmares though!)
Why did you make me an enemy of White? Why is White, white and me the black sheep..?
..............................................
I have the seven hues, all punched into my soul that breaks free through the little shards of rain.. Gifting you an amazing rainbow! Yes, I’m White but not always pretty..
Pouring fairness cream onto your face, you want to be white.. But looking at a blanched face.. You call it dead? Isn’t it double faced?
I am peace? Who told you that? Couldn’t you see the inferno of colors that’s burning through me.. I’m old, I’m matured.. I’m serene...
No.. I’m not. I’m as rambunctious as any other color.. As colorful as they are.. Colors don’t age..
Papers.. Canvas.. All in white. I’m your field of expressions.. But hey.. What would you do with no ink? See, the credit’s not all mine..
And excuse me,.. You people seem pretty confused with me.. You say white is so beautiful and then wrap up the corpse with me! Is death beautiful to you, by any chance?..
Well.. To err is human...
....................................................
I'm blood.. I'm red.. I'm fire too..
And yes, I spread.
I am Red and not always pretty or good. I'm hate as much as I am love..
You see red with fury.. And you catch the offender red-handed.
I'm the color of the sun and start your days.. That's the reason why I've to wake up early.. Earlier than White! And I put Black to sleep..
I'm in roses.. So is Black and White.. But I am the most popular!
Don't be too amused, because it's me that is expensive in a blood bank, your life in my hands.. I need to scurry through the veins... (Don't eat too much junk food, it blocks my runway).
I'm destruction.. An arson.. A forest fire? Or a murder.. I flow free.. I'm pious.. An emblem of love.. Or lust if you want.. You humans get it wrong all the time.. A war is all it takes that breaks my prison.. The third world war isn't too far..

You should love the girls
When they bleed."... ~Red

Color #06FDF6 is a blue but, he was bright. He is loud and unapologetically him, so they wished to silence him. However, they did not understand that he was a tiger, and when you try to silence a tiger all they do is roar.
Color #750A30 is red, but he was dark. He was rude and unforgiving, he said things with no remorse and wanted each word to hurt. But let me be clear he was no bully, he only reacted that way because he was provoked.
Color #6A6C79 doesn’t have a definition. He fits in perfectly always getting compliments for how good of a color he was. They didn't feel the need to tame color #6A6C79 and he hated it.
They all did. They hated how they were expected to fit into this perfect mold defined by the color they were supposed to be and not who they actually are. So, is it really a surprise that they ran away from their "homes"? No. But was it a surprise that they all met up after they crossed the color boundaries? Most defiantly. As they studied each other each was famous for one thing or another in their own color coordinated section so it wasn't too hard figuring out which color was named what. After about an hour of arguing all three decided it was best to stay together from then on, despite #750A30 blatant disgust for the other two they figured they could deal with it. And so to mark a new chapter in their lives they decided to change their names, to something that they liked. They wanted to be like the colors in the books that they read about who didn’t have a series of numbers and letters as a name.
"Okay I got it, my name is Aither!" Former #06FDF6 proclaimed loudly striking a pose.
"Why cause you’re an air head?" #750A30 smirked earning a snicker from the other and causing sky to pout.
"No, actually because my energy level is way up in the sky thank you very much," he said crossing his arms and letting out a huff of air. "Besides what’s your new name anyway, not like I’m curious or anything..."
"Demi" he says smugly while leaning against a rock.
"why cause you only show half your emotions?" Aither said giving himself a mental high five.
"Yes." Demi deadpanned and pulled out a book to start reading it, little did Aither know demi hadn't even showed a quarter of his emotions during the hour and a half they had been together. "What’s yours #6A6C79?" Demi asked uninterestedly.
"Mine well it's um, Dacite" He said hesitantly,
"Like the rock?" Aither said earning an eyebrow from Demi. "What I’m excitable not stupid."
"Yeah I’m not the rarest color, but I’ll always be there when." Dacite said rubbing his arm sheepishly just as Aither pounced in him calling him all sorts of soft names. And that is the story of how these three unlikely companions met who knows what adventures await for them, but what we do know is today a brotherhood was formed.

"You're terminated." The boss's face was as cold and still as stone as he tossed her out the van and slid the door shut. She landed with a thud and gave a yelp of pain, groaning and writhing on the cold, muddy ground. It was raining.
Perfect.
She was still on the ground when the sound of the van faded into the background. She gave an exasperated grunt before rising to her feet with such determination that it almost sent her back to the mud. She watched the van grow smaller and smaller.
No.
They couldn't do this to her.
Not to her.
Her body began to shake until it exploded with fury. She let out a piercing cry, only dampened by the rain. It did echo, however, in her head. As she ran towards a nearby house, the only noise she could hear, above the rain, above the footsteps and above the silence,
was the echo.
The scream that slowly filled her head.
Not to her.
It isn't fair.
It isn't fair.
She stumbled through the door, the raining beating down against the roof. She hit wall after wall as she made her way through.
The scream echoed in her head.
Not to her.
They couldn't.
They didn't.
She stopped in front of a bathroom sink and vomited. She looked up
and that's when she saw it.
Red. Everywhere.
She screwed her eyes shut and shook her head. She was seeing red. A metallic taste entered her mouth.
How could they do this to you?
You were one of them!
She began to hear a ringing in her ears. Was it the screaming? No. This was something else.
You have to get them.
They deserted you!
The bastards...
More red. She tried to get rid of it but it only grew stronger.
You have to get them!
They're cowards!
They left you alone.
Left her? But why? What did she do? Slowly, the red began to fade. They left her and she didn't know why. The ringing in her ears dwindled down. The metallic taste in her mouth faded.
Why?
Why?
Did you do something wrong?
Her head began to feel fuzzy. She began to feel empty. Hollow. It was as if everything had turned
grey.
What are you going to do now?
Now that they've left you?
As she loomed over the bathroom sink, she swayed slightly, as if there was nothing inside her body and she was just a skin. Confusion. That's what this was. She had to get control. She couldn't lose grip.
Do you have any idea why they left you?
Any?
You're losing control, aren't you?
No.
Stop.
Do you think that's why they left you?
Left you all alone?
Alone. Left her all alone. She started to feel less like a shell and more like a cold boulder. All alone. She was all alone now. All alone. All
alone
with no one
She could hear the rain pattering outside. It made her feel calm. Quiet.
Blue.
She felt like she was full of lead, and the only relief from the heavy weight would be to curl up on the ground.
maybe you should
it looks nice and cool down there
and we won't have to worry about being alone
There was a deep and muted pulse that throbbed in her head. It felt cold and heavy, just like every other part of her body.
it's just you
they left you
on your own
She tried not to listen to the gloomy voice, but it spoke nonetheless.
all alone
with no one
She surrendered to the feeling. Slowly, she crouched to the ground, curling up into a ball. The voice surrounded her. It echoed in her head,
like the scream,
like the fuzziness,
and like pulse.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Through a screen, he watched.
"Sir, she's not stable," came a voice. He continued to watch. "Sir?"
"Collect her."
"But sir, she's not-"
He raised his hand for silence. He said it again, slowly.
"Collect her."
A gulp, then a set of instructions spoken through a radio. He stood silently, his face as cold and still as stone, watching the girl curled up on a bathroom floor.
"The boss orders for the collection of subject 13. Send a team-"
"Send three teams." The order was met with a look of shock.
"But sir, she's just a girl." The boss turned and began walking away.
"It's not for the girl.
It was never just for the girl."
Sunset, Moonrise
A pink hue in a shade I’ve never seen covers the grasslands atop the mesa. The golden hour is rose gold tonight. Thirty minutes of twilight and the sun disappears in the west beyond the canyons, behind the buttes. Intertwined like lovers, the moon rises to the east, another color I’ve never seen, and a faded yellow orb engulfs the moon like a fairytale come to life.

It was upon my very first sight of her that had captivated my full attention. Her eyes, those eyes of her beauty cast a spell deep into my soul. I just could not get them out of my mind.
My wondering thoughts had the best of me. Her eyes were beyond hazel. They were electric. These windows were glistening with a variety of blue, green, and brown.
Captivated I was. You know how at times, a persons eyes can tell you so much of who they are. Though, with out a dobut, I had to know more.
Her laugh also matched her beauty. But it was her eyes that were shining those brilliant blue’s, green’s, and brown’s. I could not help, but to gaze into them.
I soon realized that she knew that I was captivated. The next thing I knew, she said to me, “Hi, my name is Hazel, I love your green eyes. What’s your name?”
I stumbled upon my tung, and replied, “Call me captivated, I mean spell struck, I mean, damn your beautiful, I love your eyes too!”
We spent the next few hours getting to know each other. The funny thing too. Is that her name was actually Hazel.
