First off: Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur are getting their own cartoon series on Disney+, courtesy of Laurence Fishburne, and that is going to be some amazing $#!@ right there I can’t wait.
Secondly: The long overlooked Valiant comics are - any day now they swear - coming out with their first movie on Bloodshot, starring the oddly geeky Vin Diesel last I heard. While it’s a nanotech rip off of Wolverine and probably won’t get much play in the box office, it needs to happen. If only so we can get something with Faith in it in the future.
Thirdly: Saga. Every person I’ve ever met has loved this comic once reading it. It’s one of those immortal comic series that everyone knows, yet nobody’s heard of - so how has it not gotten a Netflix series yet? No, a movie won’t do it justice -- there is far too much drama to pack into a three hour tour here - but a series could be amazing let alone binge-worthy, replacing the dark hole left by such things as Game of Thrones. Wait, scratch that - I can’t afford HBO pricing, please let Netflix or somebody else pick it up.
Fourth: Squirrel Girl - there is no hope here, but a body-positive female hero who is wacky rather than sexy or deadly would be such a breath of fuckin’ fresh air I can’t express enough how I wish this would happen already. She’s gotten some cartoon time on Marvel Rising, yes - but I don’t think that series got distributed enough to introduce her to hard core fans. She needs a proper movie. If Morbius’ pasty butt can get one, come on (yes, I know who Morbius is, I watched the old Spiderman cartoon).
Fifth: Please just not another fucking Batman movie.
(this sentence left uncensored because this cannot express enough how strongly I feel on this topic)
