Matthew 14:31 - Empowerment (Bible Journal)

"Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him. 'You have so little faith,' Jesus said. 'Why did you doubt me (Matthew 14:31 NLT)?'"

These words come after Peter became fearful while walking on water with Jesus. Even though Peter was doing something that would be considered impossible, he still had doubts. I have never personally walked on water, but I am certain I have likely had an experience where I was doing something beyond my normal skill set, then suddenly lost what I was doing from doubt. We may never walk on water, but God can still do work through us that we normally would not think we could handle. We just need to trust Him in those moments. Thank You Lord for being a God of empowerment. Please help me to do things that I normally would not think I could handle on my own. I want to glorify You with my actions. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
