Happy Everyday
Happy Father's Day.
To who you who forgot, abandoned.
Happy Father's Day.
To all who "just can't do it."
Happy Father's Day.
When it got too tough and you left her to raise a man.
Happy Father's Day.
Happy. Father. Two things you'd never know.
Happy Father's Day.
To those who stepped up.
Happy Father's Day.
To those who adopted a soul to nourish.
Happy Father's Day.
For all those nights you stayed awake, rocking them to sleep,
questioning how something so beautiful could have been made.
Happy Father's Day.
For the arguments that led to lessons laced with tears. Well worth them anger.
Happy Father's Day.
For the imaginative mind and creative soul that made everyday, that day.
Happy Father's Day.
To every one who isn't a Father but more so, a mentor. A Father in their eyes.
Happy Father's Day.
You didn't give up. You made a mission to hold on to.
Happy Father's Day.
Happy Everyday.
Veritigo
I'm not even around you, yet I feel you.
I smell what I would think could be you.
I enjoy how soft you would feel to my touch, tensing underneath.
The look in your eyes would either glisten or darken.
Would you hold me or let me stand alone?
Could I cross your mind even more than usual?
I'm trusting the part of my body that I had forgotten.
Want more than a smirk, I want an affection.
You're affecting me in more than one way.
I fear you yet I need to be near you.
Dreaming of moments yet to happen.
Thinking of days where we'd spend, just the two of us.
Crashing from the high, the dose you've given me.
Only.
I want you to myself.
Locking the doors, shutting the blinds.
My heart is aching for your contact.
Don't tell me that I must share.
I don't do moments shared.
Collecting our in jars and allowing the dust the collect.
I want to remember you as you are.
You got my heart is folds and I don't do second place.
I've placed you first and I want the same in return.
Have you not ever been this in love before?
This feeling is draining of my energy, yet you satisfy my hunger.
You are my hunger. Let no one touch and taste what I have.
You are what I've needed since I had never knew.
Just don't leave my sight.
think’n ’bout y’u
Smiling from the inside as I tried to hide it from the surface.
You put a smile on me soul; you resonate deep within me.
I could be dreaming, don't you dare wake me.
Trying to fight the dream warriors, I don't want to be buried alive.
I want more. I won't accept less.
Friends til the clocks strikes 12, turn in to my lover.
My heart is racing at the thought of a collaboration.
The both of our hearts dancing to a unknown melody.
I'm stressed out yet you calm me down.
God, am I dreaming? Don't want to screw this up.
Try and understand your feelings, don't get hurt.
Hold your frown baby girl, I'm talking to myself.
So I won't lose myself.
My illusions aren't allowing me to breath easy.
I half want to cry but with my whole heart want to just smile.
I won't let this opportunity rust away.
You are so dangerous and I'm taking bullets.
No exit wounds, I want the feeling to last and last.
Just let the love spill from my heart into my insides and kill me.
Kill me for everything I've ever wanted.
Been on you for so long and now I'm just like, "Cool."
Just to keep my cool and not scare you away.
Making you smile is my way of smiling.
As I smile from the inside, forcing it to hide from the surface.
But you know it, you see it.
You've always seen it.
Unspoken
He made me leak out my passion in a way I tried to resist.
He placed his lips in places I couldn't control the reactions of.
With one touch, he made apart of me explode.
I had submitted without trying. I fallen under his spell.
Lying within the moisten sheets of the after, he smirked.
His miniature stood at attention for my attention.
My mouth began to salivate as it made its presence known.
Tears formed in my eyes as his twinkled under ecstasy .
Spilling out of his love, I made contact and digested the thrill.
He loved me in that light, it shined bright.
It shone thru his darkness.
He spoke volumes and made no actions.
Grabbing my body in his hands, he turned me around.
The rear view excited him as he made his presence.
He sped the pace up as my insides collapsed around him.
With one thrust, he spilled his secrets as he cried out to me.
We fell inside the sheets, catching up to our breaths and heart rate.
Together, we fell.
Innocent One
Dear you,
I've been where you are now.
Heart so full and pumping regularly.
Eyes wide and filled with hope.
The slices you feel now sting and you don't even know it.
The adrenaline keeps your tolerance at bay.
You feel invincible.
Oh, innocent one.
I've had the feeling before, those butterflies floating thru you.
Making it hard to swallow and speak.
Your hands get clammy and you stumble over yourself.
You blush as your hand is held.
Those few phrases have your heart racing and winning.
However, it's in a race designed to lose.
It's flawed and imperfect.
Lift up your hopes only to crash and burn them.
Innocent one, listen to me.
Nothing is wrong with love when it's indeed, love.
But when just one drop turns your soul black, run.
Don't chase it to try and turn it back pure; it's hopeless.
Once you're damaged, you must live through the storms coming.
Build up and become stronger, intuitive.
Innocent one, I was once innocent.
Now I'm guilty of fallen in love and crashing.
Trust me when I say,
Oh, innocent one,
It's not all it's cracked up to be.
10 P.M. Drinks
Her long manicured nails scrape the ceramic tile.
Her heart beats as the clocks ticks on.
9:35
Anticipation isn't her ideal emotion but her heart races on.
Scrolls through previous conversations that led to here,
the voice that confirmed her promise to meet.
She blushes.
The barkeep pours another shot; she devours.
The night is busy as the headlights of many stream past.
The aroma of cigars and various musk swirled around her.
Her own scent of berries and champagne stayed enclosed however.
She drinks to ease her nerves, but the more she drinks, the more aware she becomes.
9:56
The glass slips out of her hands and spills her only hope for serenity.
Her hands had become sweaty.
She wipes her liquor off the counter before it stains her new dress.
Tempted to throw in the towel as this was a sure sign of a bad omen.
A hand graced hers as she trailed from the hand to the arm connected to it.
Continued up the path to see his face.
He smiled as she turned away.
Gracing her chin, he tilted her head towards him.
Her eyes still focused on the counter where puddles of her drink remains.
Without much thought, he leaned in and pressed his lips against hers.
Surrendering to the his presence and essence, she fell victim.
He licked his lips once his disconnected from her.
The taste of the liquor that rested on her mouth made him shiver.
He ordered one shot and gave her his best look.
10:00
He made her question no more of their standing.
He led her away and into the night, well into the morning.
They laid until the sun warmed their skins.
Wrapped in more than his arms, she snuggled closer.
Thinking about the moments that lied ahead.
This moment is what she had been dreaming of; hoping for a great begin.
10:00 a.m.
He stares at her as if anything is possible.
Stroking her cheek with one hand and lusting her with the other.
He's fallen captive as she fallen victim.
Just how the story always goes.
