What Isn’t Mine
I look through the window of a house that isn't mine
To watch a smiling family that isn't mine
Happiness is an emotion that doesn't belong to me and has long eluded me
I wonder if a family is what will make me happy
Or perhaps a house to live in
Or a window to look out
But here I stand from the outside looking in
Observing what I can't have
Watching what I don't feel
Dear Peter
As the night lays cold,
And the flame flickers on.
My thimble rests hold
Of all the days gone.
Of the trust,
Of the faith,
And of the pixie dust-
That night like a wraith.
The window is open,
Forever in wait for you.
The thimble unspoken,
Remembering our last adieu.
Why did I say goodbye all those years ago?
Is this my medicine within its cup?
They say it’s time to let go.
And now it’s bottoms up.
The sticky sweet your absence left behind,
Has plagued my fate,
And those words still wrack my mind,
The ones of where you’ll wait.
The tales others tell
Of what you truly do,
I now know too well.
Of why you really flew..
For, Peter, I need a rescue-
From the hangman’s tree.
Because I’m longing for you
And out of the three needed to flee.

You're pretty brave @Lish
Goin' at me the way you did
You really think you got this?
HA!
The last thing you'll do is win
No, I don't want your crown
I mean
Maybe I would
If you actually had one
But you're too old
While I'm over here
Still young
I had detention?
HAHA
I broke out of there
Cuz I'm badass
As you forgot to mention
Sure,
My lance is little
But I'm better with a dagger
While your sword is too brittle
Girl,
If you think I'll lose
You belong in a mental hospital
(Oooh, sizzle)
Sorry,
Did I hurt your feelings a little?
You think you hurt me
You don't
What's that sound?
I think your old person cane broke
Or is that just the sound
Of your pride breaking
Oh, I can already see
You reading this....
Trembling...
Shaking
Bedtime?
Mine?
No, I'm up 'til two
What about you?
I hear tiredness comes with age
Looks like you're at that stage
So you might as well stop now
Just let me win
Before your brain rots
To the point where you forget your login
