Wasn't today just wonderful?

In sleep unrushed

A dream unkind

Dark world

So big

It fills the mind-

Through shadows gray

Odd specters flit

My mouth gone dry

I try to spit

I fear this night

That I will learn

What it means to die...

  All I need is the freedom to roam. 

In your heart, I find my home. 

Give me the option to feel welcomed back -and always I'll find the star

that leads me to where you are.

  The world is mine for the conquering, 

it's mine because with it together we're everything. 

  Beyond the sky I see the whole world, 

with clear answers through the swirl. 

I'll find the beauty that matches these words I speak. 

I already know this adventure awaits my soul; 

These are reasons why, I must go. 

  I said your heart is my home, 

though this is not the only home I'll ever come to know.

  Beside any current, I hear the waves call out to me. 

I need to sail and let the wind lead. 

This is a part of my destiny,

I can't live if my dreams aren't set free. 

  I may not know the world, but it knows me. 

  The light is my company, 

the sun my empathy, 

within the clouds I know of who I need to be. 

Even the darkness that tried to change me, found failure, 

and sought to withdrawal back antagonistic greed. 

Discouraged, his words are no longer a voice I see. 

Yet I never saw him as an enemy battling me. 

  I learnt so much from the hell that lingers in my shell. 

As the moon passes high it has become 

the best mentor -I question wisdom from. 

-While the stars teach me of other worlds, 

and shine like oyster pearls. 

  Through mystery I see my world, 

it's in my destiny to never look back with sorrow, 

and keep my steps -stepping forward. 

I can't live the way I see fit 

if my dreams aren't all befit. 

  Trust that I believe in the stars enough

to hold me when I'm alone and getting stuck. 

During the night I won't need your light 

if the love in my heart is securely bound tight. 

  It's the daylight that keeps me on the same path. 

Showing the time of when to wind, curve or keep flat. 

  My words may sound crazy, 

but I don't care how you interpret these. 

My love, as the stars glow, will show me infinite ways 

my heart will need nature 

       -as another forever home.
