Earth Angels - We rise again
What makes me burn is anger
The magma battling the soul
Sadness is a hastener
It fuels the fire that burns me up
But yet I rise, I rise again.
No matter how many times I fall
No matter how much pain
Even if I'm feelin' insane
I'm just another earth angel
Waiting to spread its wings
I feel the heavenly pull
I feel my wings begin to sprout
With a firm support
With reconciliation
With forgiveness
In my soul
I am washed
Through the sky
By the everfree air and winds
Have you ever felt the wind
Have you ever felt its spirit
So careless and breezy
Blowing with impunity
Lifting birds to the sky
And even then, the wind must yield
To the angels passing through
For when they walk upon the sky
Their plumage so everwhite
The wind does kneel
And stops blowing
To look upon the beauty
Of an earth angel
Taken.
To the sky.
Hating a day of love
What I hate about this day of love, is that back when I was in school, my mother required me to write a valentine's day gift card to everyone in my grade. That pissed me off because half of them hated my guts for a stunt I pulled on them during the prank day last year. I don't regret pulling that prank anyways, but the point is, why should you pretend to "love" those you do not want to love, even when both sides have a reason to hate each other? I realize I am branding myself as immature once this gets out, but yeah, needed somewhere to get it out :\
Forever
Write the ending of a new story for every new ending.
When the Sun fully rose, any bystander could see thousands of angels clutching to each other, to save one, to save the hero… What light and brightness Integente and Serpientus shone with, they could not have matched the splendor of broken, scarred, and whole people pulling and flying with grace at the very crack of dawn.
NEXT ENDING BELOW
The Lone Seeker
He seeks not lovers nor love alike
He traverses the mountains in a lifetime hike
He is the lone seeker
He seeks what cannot be seen nor touched
He seeks the freedom that his lord promised him
He is solitary in his thoughts, but harmoniously connected in his actions
He is the friend of nature, although nature seeks to stop him
He means no harm, he is only a man, a man with deluded ambitions
Nature's lieutenants took pity on him
Nature's lieutenants were the faithful dog and the bravest lion
So they guided him, and showed him the way
So they warned him, freedom was not what he thought it to be
So they took him to the foot of a rotting cave
Where all of nature's immortal beauty halts at the mortal cave
Where death lies in wait, giving freedom to all who passed
Freedom... Freedom... Freedom... Freedom... Freedom... Freedom...
Death took the soul of the Lone Seeker and gave it to his lord
Freedom... Freedom... Freedom... Freedom... Freedom... Freedom...
He now was free
