dear Scarily Confusing You,
i must tell you, darling;
you've made quite the deposit
in my bank.
the flowers and cute sayings-
and, oh, your
killer grilled cheese sandwiches!
how i miss those sandwiches...
i promise;
i've even tried meditation-
'hummm, himmm- oh crap,
here we go again!'
i cant't get you out if my head!
your sweet disposition;
oh, how ironic!
and the tension between our hearts:
almost ionic!
just go away,
be the thunder to
someone else's lightening...
or come back and be the
sunshine to my blue sky?
Christ, i can't make up my mind.
Sincerely, Heart-Wrenched Me.
I took a deep breath and entered
I was shoved against the wall
A slap against my cheeks
My hair being pulled
Knees hit my stomach
I didn't fight back
Not yet
I closed my eyes
Feeling every pain
Remembering every hit
My body start to numb
As blood sputtered out my mouth
"That's what you get you little slut!"
Her back was facing me
This is my chance
I pulled the pocketknife from my shoe
And stabbed her
Again
And again
And again
Until all i see
Was her cold eyes staring back at me
I smiled
"That's what you get you old hag!"
Laughing and limping
As i left the house
Hardship
some times
the ship sails soft
other times it sails hard
hardship
some times it sails light
other times it sails dark
darkship
without hard ship
there is no soft ship
without darkness
there is no light
without pain and challenge
there is no joy and triumph
hardship is a means
to an end that is beauty,
no matter how stormy
and hopeless
and agonizing
it all may feel
angels grieve their fallen masterpiece
the rain beat down
on the house
and his fist beat down
on her.
her skin will never be
the same after it's been
torn apart
and pieces are lost.
the sun lit through the clouds
and his cigarette lighter
lit against her skin.
flesh is burned away
and the ghost in the
hallways mourn
her pain.
the wind cuts through
the trees just as
his nails cut and burry
into her cheek.
sometimes it's easier
to just not breathe.
go outside when the
damage is done and
look to the sky above
look how the sky
cries for you.
Human extinction
We have laid our claim to this place
Hunting to extinction
Deforestation
Industrialization
Spread like a cancer
Destroying everything
Yet in these places
We think now void
Grows new life
Defying logic
Discovering the extinct
Still lives in sheltered groves
Proving life will sustain
And survive
Long after the last human dies
