I’d need to know more about your character’s disposition, when and where the story takes place so it fits the time/era and country/location, etc.

But if I ever have an issue coming up with a name I’d either benchmark or understudy awesome “bad boy” names such as Jax Teller from S.O.A, Riddick, Jesse Pinkman, Walter White, O-Dog, just to name a few of my bad boy fav’s and come up with one similar to my character’s disposition, or I use a name generator online:

When I'm stuck for a name I play  "name shuffle" with the folks commenting on the Facebook site of our local newspaper. Use one persons first name, anothers middle and a thirds last name.

obviously if you play this game with the UK Financial Times you get a different type of name than if you use the Curacao Chronicle but its quite useful for ideas.

What sort of bad boy are you going for? A straight up evil dude? If so, I always find Sylus to be an evil sounding name. Also Felix, Vlad, Lucious and Lars.

If you're looking for more of a rebel bad boy, I can think of Ragan (pronounced Raygan), Axel, Jay, Marcus, Brandon and Benji...
