Running Rabbits
Gentle droplets ripple the
Surface of an emotion
Long too still
Breezy waving fabric
Veils & for sales
An underlying will
Expanding bosom bellows
Air so fair to share
With those inert
Numb to his little hurt
For the privledged
Need not care
Lazy grazing gentle beast
Mural, amorally amorous view
Adorning horns
Warnings strong
Have pity on
Nature’s calm
Mighty over you
It’s docile eyes
Stare on forever
Gently blinking
Soft shades of fine leather
Drawing sympathy
Warm & tender...
Sawing symphonies-
The majestic dismembered
Empty belly
The great pretender
Down one knee
Closer to see
Sensating fingertips
Rub together clayed mud
From over yonder spilling blood
Craving & contrition
Conflicting in thee
Running Rabbits in the streets
Windy animation rustles
Grassy fenced off fields
Rolling-loping hills
Autumn browning
Creeping winter chills
Harvest profit yields
Screaming-dreaming
Sunshine & all
Trespassers reveal
The flowered fallow where
Compassion ran shallow
Plastic payments
Plastic meals
Dirty little fingers with
Deep pockets to steal
Forlorn-sullen-lemon setting
Into arcane melting red
Twilight eyes gravely
Shepard all the dead
Chin to knees
Perched so low
From beneath the soil
An infant grows
Salty-slippery face...
Below tables with no space
In a world he can’t control
Nobody’s orphan
Somebody to embrace
That one we sha’nt console
Coiling-trembling
Below stars so cold
Thin slit eyes
Await sunrise
And what tomorrow holds...
Bravery
Bravery is a rare quality to have but it is one that is sure to last.
In my close friends I admire the courage, strength, and steady pace.
Courage to confront a problem face-to-face.
To tell a friend when their minds aren't in the right place.
To spare a person from hard-feelings and to forgive gracefully.
In beloved stories we see the best of courage,
Fighting the monster, the corruption, the greed
Saving the world and after smoking some Pipe-weed.
Learning from friends and stories, I build up my life to leave a decent story.
Facing fears and confrontations alike.
Holding up my head despite any dislike.
We all have a little bit of bravery, we just need to bring it out.
Grab hold of the courage for in times of fear it helps us keep our minds clear.

Bravery
Bravery is how we find a way to say "I'm fine, don't worry, I promise I'll be okay". It's how we get up every morning and face this world of gray when all we want to do is say "Please just go away". It's how we wipe away the tears and glue a smile to our face just so nobody will know that we wish to end this day. Bravery is how we fight to win the battles that we hate even though we know that they will never go away. Bravery is how we get out of bed everyday...
Voices
In the misty hours before it gets bright
All in the still of the night
Not a sound can be heard
Except for an occasional bird
Looking at photos from decades ago
People you knew whom left long ago
Are they still near
When you begin to hear
Deep back in your mind
Stories they told you more than one time
It’s like they are standing there
All while you stare
In perfect pitch
Your memory turned on a switch
The sound of them speaking
Is just what you’re seeking
