Alone in a Crowd
Alone in a crowd
That describes me
My screams are not loud
My mind is not free
I just don’t fit in
With all of the rest
I don’t like the din
I like quiet the best
I like to stay home
It is my favorite thing
I don’t like to roam
Or the crowds parties bring
Alone, I may be
But not lonely, It’s true
There is a difference, you see
I’m alone, but not blue.
Alone, But Not Lonely
I constantly find myself alone,
Though I mostly don't,
Feel lonely.
People come and go,
That is just how life is.
It is more likely,
For me to feel lonely,
With people,
Than without.
I cannot explain myself,
So do not ask me to.
There are people,
Who I don't want,
To leave me,
Alone.
These people I love,
You know who you are,
Or at least,
I do.
Alone in the Crowd
I stand alone in the crowd
Letting the people sift by me,
None bothering to stop and help me,
Or ask what is wrong.
I stand alone in the crowd,
Letting the sorrow wash over me,
No one noticing or bothering,
To care.
I stand alone in the crowd,
Letting pain fill my bones,
I’m done with this sorrow,
I’m done with this pain,
I’m done with my life.
