Stanley Martin Lieber
Hey Prosers,
It’s been a rough time for me right now. I just got home after seeing A Star is Born, when I checked my phone and I noticed that my dad sent me a text message. In the text, he told me that Stan Lee had sadly passed away today. As you can imagine, this news is pretty devastating to me.
Stan Lee was truly one of my biggest idols. I’m sure by now his name and image may be familiar to you due to his multiple cameos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but his status as a legend goes beyond that. Since the 1940s, Stan’s been writing and making comics for a small comic book industry that would be later known as Marvel Comics today. It’s because of him that we have wonderful characters like Spider-Man, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, Daredevil, and the Avengers.
People used to ask me which superhero I would like to be. I would always say that I never wanted to be a superhero. I wanted to be Stan Lee, someone who created superheroes we can look up to. Not just superheroes, but extraordinary characters that we could connect with and relate to. It was to say that we, just ordinary people, has the great power and the great responsibility to be heroes.
Thank you, Stan, for being my inspiration, my idol, my true superhero

Rest in peace,
Our greatest superhero

Farewell, Hero
Stan Lee
You wrote so many fantastic heroes into this world
And crafted incredible, wondrous stories
You brought joy to the lives of many
Inspired people to rise up
And fight for what was right
Truly, you were a hero
An undying legend
Your legacy will live on forever
And you will never be forgotten
Legends Never Die.
Ever since I could remember, Stan Lee has been one of my favorite comic book creators. He set into motion an era where everyone is one the edge of their seat waiting for the next Marvel movie to come out. When I was five years old, I remember getting for my birthday a pair of Hulk fists, and whenever I punched something... "HULK SMASH!" I thought it was the coolest toy in existence back then, and I eagerly waited for all of my superhero idols to appear on screen. My love for the Marvel universe never faded, in fact even today I'm already planning on seeing Avengers 4. While watching the movies, I was always waiting for the part where Stan Lee would come out and get his 5 second scene. I thought it was genius! The creator always getting screen time always got the crowd riled up, "Ha ha ha, there he is!" people in the theater would announce. It was always fun and light hearted, and I'm going to miss him a great deal. He is the creator of what I consider to be one of my favorite pass times. I hope in the future of Marvel movies, they still find a way to add Stan Lee into the movies. Whether that means they paste his face to a billboard during a fight in the city or reference his name as a big time CEO. If this happened I think it would be the best tribute that Marvel could do.
Stan Lee you've created a large impact on my life, and I wish I could inspire others like you did.
You live in the hearts of all your fans and your legacy will continue to grow.
Rest in peace Stan Lee.
RIP Stan Lee
95 Years Young, Mr. Stan Lee
I thoroughly enjoyed going to the theatre to watch your creations on the big screen. It was the only time I actually wanted to go to the movies with my husband and son. As I got further and further into a movie, I always wondered “when is your cameo going to be”? I would not leave for any reason until you made your quick appearance. My favorite movies by far were “Black Panther” and “Thor” and yeah, all time fav, “Guardians of the Galaxy”. You will truly be missed by all, men, women and child. Stan Lee, comic book writer, editor, publisher, media producer, television host, actor and voice actor, you sure wore many hats.
“America is made of different races and different religions, but we’re all co-travellers on the spaceship Earth and must respect and help each other along the way.” - Stan Lee
