Why you should vaccinate?
There’s a few points to this. First off, forget that bloody autism thing!
That was proven to be false and the doctor who even now, still blabbers on about it was struck off the medical register because of the damage he’d done. He’s not a doctor anymore. Can’t even legally call himself a doctor and can’t operate as one. He’s the best “expert” the antivaccination morons can come up with. Not a good track record, eh?
The only reason they found a correlation between vaccinations and autism was because the kids usually express that trait at around the time vaccines are first given but correlation does not equal causation. It just happens to coincide with the age kids normally have autism detected in the first place.
Now, what would you prefer? Let’s look at the alternatives...
Vaccinate or....
Measels... Sometimes life threatening, complications can include earache, misaligned eyes, convultions and blindness, meningitis and pneumonia, not to mention the afformentioned death. In pregant women, miscarraige, premature birth and low birth weight...
Mumps... How does incredibly painful swollen testicles sound to you, possibly leading to infertility? The same can happen in women, swollen ovaries... again, you can get meningitis from it and that can be fatal if it reaches the brain.
German measels/Rubella. Mainly a risk to pregnant women, miscarraige and severe disabiities in the baby. Blindness, deafness or brain damage. Do you want to be responsible for that, because if you don’t vaccinate you’re kid, you are. You’re creating a vector for the disease to spread.
Of course, those are just the three that go with the MMR vaccine. What about polio? Very nasty? What about whooping cough? Tuberculosis? Diptheria?
And it’s best not to even consider the chicken pox party thing. “Once you’ve caught chicken pox you can’t get it again?” Wrong.
In later life, if you’ve had it, it can come back as shingles. It’s a member of the herpes family and it never leaves your body.
The key to vaccination is herd immunity. If enough kids are immunised then the viruses won’t spread, even if there are a few who haven’t. If you don’t vaccinate your child, you’re hurting other people, not just the kid. You’re spreading the disease and some kids can’t be immunised due to medical conditions that compromise their immune systems.
You’re risking the life of other people’s kids because of your pigheadedness.
Do you want that?
“The Accident”
"I swear, I don't need my tetnus shot! It's too painful!" I shouted at my mom.
"You still need you're shot. Do you want an infection!" she argued.
My arm had been bitten by Sugar the cat. The wound on my upper right arm was bloodied and swollen. I was cradling her when she lashed back and bit me. My mother is currently driving me to the nearest doctor to our home. She claims that if I do not vaccinate for this, I can sustain an infection that may even be fatal.
"Fine, now I believe you." I responded in a calm tone of voice.
I am starting to believe that vactionation for children is actually crutial to my health. I do not think I want an infection.
"Good, once you get you're vacination, nothing bad will ever happen again with those rusty nails you were playing with," she awnsered. "this will prevent other illnesses too, honey. It will stop the spread of some. We need to keep your health tip-top."
I stare in silence out the window, watching vibrant colored vehicles speed by.
"This will also stop chicken pox, whooping cough, and HPV."
"Mmh." I thought.
The pain I will endure will be worth it. The vacination can prevent me from being contagious towards my friends at school. My mom swings the door open to the office.
"Hello, my daughter was just bitten by the family kitten. Can she have a tetnus vacationation?"
"Yes, we will do this imediatly." the woman countered with centering a bucket of loliepops on the desk.
I ended the day the a smiley face bandage on my arm and an acute, keen pain. The lesson of my story is to always never take a chance for your health because it may be fatal.
Oh, my god! Get them vaccinated.
If you doubt what the superbly vast majority of doctors say,
Then you are a very suspicious and critical person. Good for you. Right on. Trust no one but yourself.
But you can't be sure that those quacks are all wrong.
I suggest you do all the experimental work again.
Science is all about reproducibility of results.
You know that, right?
Sure you do. Sure you know the procedure to verify , the length taken to ensure safety, to avoid false positives.
You know that.
You know the fundamental difference in child survivability in populations, with or with no access to vaccination and the means to deliver them.
You know that.
You know that , I do not doubt, that some deceases are untreatable except as a preventative measure to vaccinate.
You know that . you know what's good for your kids. And you work hard to provide for them nothing but the best.
So...
Healthy Children and Light Weight Revenge
You should vaccinate your kiddos for three reasons.
1. You have no right to risk the lives of other people's children because you believe the bull shit conspiracies and refuse to take off your tin foil hat.
2. It's small payback for everytime the little shits eat the last of the ice cream. No mint chip ice cream for me? Let's take you to the pediatrician so you can say hello to Mr. Syringe. Maybe next time you'll leave me some.
3. If you don't, you won't be able to enroll them in school and no one wants that!
Vaccines: No Question
Vaccination should not be a question. There is not a single solid piece of scientific evidence about them harming people. At their worst, they’re ineffective, but it is always better safe than sorry. Vaccines are the best way of preventing the spread of disease, and have caused major epidemics to turn into small outbreaks. Anyone who doesn’t vaccinate their child, is not only exposing their children to risk of infectcious disease, but also risking the health of cancer patients, people with immune problems, and seniors. Not to mention not getting vaccinated puts other kids who at risk, since unvaccinated kids can carry diseases. With that said, vaccines are the obvious choice to protect the health of the community.
