Jobira
When my little brother was born, my father wanted his name to be Jobira. But later, that name lost a battle between the wife and the husband, and became Samson. That was like more than 25 some years ago.
After my dad passed away, few years ago, I forgot many of my old pen or user names and took over Jobira.
Somehow, I felt that keeping this name makes my father’s memory live forever.
Why I chose Famewriter
I want people to read my stories and I want their lives to be different because of them. I want them to close the book after reading the last page and just sit there, thinking like we all've done before with a really good book. I want people to know why I write, I want people to feel my emotions through words printed out on a peice of paper. I want people to know that, no matter what, I will always write from my heart. I chose Famewriter because it's my dream. That my name will one day be on the New York Times Bestseller. That people will want to be able to be submerged in my books for hours and not really care about what's going on around them in reality. I want people to get lost in the same thoughts I get lost in. I want to spread my dream to other young writers. I want people to know that even if they feel like their voice can't be heard above the rucus of reality, they can always find a way to be heard through writing. That's why I chose Famewriter.
Sane Writer
I started writing a few years back.
It was the time when I was in chaos, my mind, my heart.
I am not even sure if I am still sane that time.
So I started to write using a Pen and a notepad.
Someone saw my work and said “you write nicely and the opposite of ur current insanity”
hence d name stuck
Opposite of insane is sane
So Sane Writer it is
Reed
'Qalam' comes from the Greek kalamos meaning "reed" or "pen". In Islam, the reed is a symbol of wisdom likely because it is associated with writing and calligraphy. Quite literally then, it is a 'pen-name'. Truthfully, I should have chosen something akin to 'pencil' if only that is what I chiefly write and draw with as can be attested by by Deviant Art profile (Qalam87). And that is all there pretty much is to Qalam's origin story. Fortunately, no uncles were killed.

″-But you can just call me TaiSensei”
Tai Sensei:
Short for Taija Sensei
Short for Taija the Almighty Awesome-tastic Cool Superior Warrior Dragon Tamer Evil Sensei Ninja Assassin Spy in disguise (The First).
Which,
is a title I managed to tag on all my friend’s high school yearbooks when I left that hel- I mean- when I left that place.
As well as,
What I keep putting in people’s phone’s when they ask for my number.
DoveRaptor
I have gotten a few requests for the story behind my own username, so I suppose this is as good a time as any to post it!
When I was in elementary school there were few things more important to me than imaginary games. I missed far too many teacher directions lost in my own head, thinking about my charachter's next big adventure. After about 2nd grade my "princess" fantasies were long over, and superhero adventures took their place.
I made a friend that year, a girl with the same overpowered imagination and obsession with saving the world as me. The morning bus ride that had once seemed neverending grew shorter and shorter as the two of us spent the time sharing stories with one annother. The desire to share our make belive games with others is what sparked my love for writing, a love that hasn't wavered even years later.
It didn't take long before my friend and I realized that every great superhero must have an allias. My charachter had wings, thus the name Dove. As time passed, though, a bird who symbolized peace didn't fit my charachter. My charachter had become a girl who was strong and unstoppable... the girl I so desparately wanted to be. So, Raptor was born. The feirce, merciless cousin of the Dove. But for there to be one, there must be the other. Chaos and peace. Innocence and guilt. The two titles may have been born of a childs mind, but they have come to mean far more to me than fodder for a simple game.
I suppose they define me.
A.C. Wolfe/WhiteWolfe32
A.C. Wolfe
A.C., my first two initials.
Also the names of my two dominant personalities; Alex and Chris, Anger and Creativity.
When I was younger, I thought Wolfgang was spelled Wolfegang. And I wanted to have a name like the famous music composer, so Wolfe was born. Later, I found out about the sheer volume of books written by authors with the last name wolf, or some variation like mine (Tom Wolfe, Virginia Woolf, etc.). I also really like wolves, no symbolism there. Also I noticed that a bunch of writers had the last name Wells, and I have a friend with the last name Wells, so I wanted it to start with a W. The problem with this is that in a bunch of contests, the list was in alphabetical order by last name, and my stories often went unread. WhiteWolfe32 has been my username on everything. As for my pen name, it has gone all over the place, but I've never published anything under any of them except this one.
Another user that I might use in the future is TheDarkNight. In school, I used to see people leaving notes on the whiteboards (follow XXX on instagram, be happy, my birthday is today, etc.) And I decided that I wanted to leave a bunch of notes everywhere. I'm pretty sure this was just after the Batman movie came out, so I said, "Hey, let's be batman." So TheDarkNight was born. And I haven't really used that anywhere but at school. I decided really early on that my messages would be words of encouragement and poetry, etc. So that happened. That's pretty much my entire story.
I actually got a complement for one of these notes (that was written on the board) and I was so happy after... so now I just do it whenever I see a whiteboard.
Ghost Herald
I am a writer, and in one of my stories the main character is a kid named Giovanni Herald. There’s no question as to why he might go by an alias with a first name like that, but the reason behind why he is called Ghost shall remain a mystery until I eventually publish the book.
So please don’t steal this name!
“The Wordsmith”
That's all TW stands for / I could have spelled it out but I like things short and sweet. I imagine writing like pounding out text and then hammering it down through editing until it resembles something useful.
"TW" also sounds close to "DW", which was the nickname for my favorite after-school cartoon hero Darkwing Duck. So there's that.
