I’ll Never See The Me You See
I’ll never see the me you see
Beauty and grace
Simple words that leave me with a bitter taste
Fractured and flawed
Devastatingly depraved from the world around me
But you stay
Unafraid of my dangerous mind
The poison that leaks through the cracks that I hide
Cover the holes
The scars
And bruises
Stuck in a state of limbo
And still you wait
Never wavering from your post
Guarding and protecting this lifeless ghost
The grains of sand that fall
Quicksand to my heart
Slowly wasting breaths
Unapologetically insane
This disease killing the cure
Running from the masses
Hysteria heightened with each will to live
Cutting down my progress
Slowly
I sink back into my hole
Solitude excluded
as they poke and prod
Manifesting fears that were never there
This constant state of despair
And still you wait
Only given...
Her face is a poem,
stops men in their tracks.
But her piece of art,
is defined by its cracks.
She worries and races,
throughout her whole day.
No one stops to think,
about the price she must pay.
While others want from her,
to her family she gives.
Her freedom must die,
so their hope may yet live.
Then one day she meets him,
recognizes his power.
He begs for her trust,
and bears Bleeding Heart flowers.
Her eyes tell him the story,
of the way she must go.
He respects her decision,
about their love yet to grow.
Her heart is a puzzle,
and by her mind it's driven,
It can never be taken,
it can only be given.
This Facade You Call Life
The facade I can see you play is shown all over your face. It has gotten in the way of the way you play.
The play you play in life should not be a facade for this facade you play has become a part of your life you will always have to play to keep your lies alive.
If this facade is your life then keep me out of it I do not want to be a part of it; no facade is worth your life.
