Nothing Happened
Pain.
It ran waves through his body.
A storm of never ending lightning strikes.
That coursed through his entire being.
Every nerve in his body begged, pleaded, screamed for him to fall.
He could’ve already collapsed.
He could’ve already died.
He could’ve already given in.
But those were not options.
He had to survive.
His captain needed him.
And he would provide.
Of course he could never let him know.
His captain would never except such a thing.
Although it was perfectly understandable.
And if the rest of the crew were here they would agree.
And when the stupid cook frantically came and asked him what happened to him.
Through his bloodshot, blood-ridden eyes he would say-
Nothing Happened.

Challenge
Write a poem that begins with "Come with me" and "till the end", a challenge some of you may remember from last year.
Recently, I have been in a situation where the people around me have changed how they speak and write. I would like to revive a challenge that I created last year.
.
Write a poem that begins with "Come with me" and "till the end".
You can reference the original challenge here for inspirations:

Challenge
Write the truest sentence you know
"All you have to do is write one true sentence. Write the truest sentence you know." -Ernest Hemingway. I don't know about anyone else but this quote really got me thinking so I want to know what your truest sentence is!
The rules are simple: One sentence only, and seeing as this is a creative exercise no facts allowed. For example, the Earth goes around the Sun or humans need oxygen to survive are factually correct but will not be allowed. Get the gist? Good! Now let's see what you guys can come up with! The winner will be chosen by me and praised!
