Lost Rupunzel
Rapunzel often wondered what life was like outside the walls of her tower. She could never leave it for there were no doors or windows other than the one in her bed room on the top floor that was higher than any tree in the forest. She had never met another human for she grew up in this tower. The only being she had ever met was the warlock who had stolen her away from her parents at a young age. ever since she was 12 years old he only visited once a week and when he arrived he expected the tower to be completely clean without a speck of dust inside. If she failed to meet his high standards of cleanliness she was punished with a brutal week in the cellar of the tower without food and only enough water for her to survive. This had only happened a handful of times in the 5 years that this rule had existed. Still Rapunzel wasn't happy. She longed to leave the castle but feared asking to leave for the one time she did the warlock became outraged with hr and attacked her. When he left he gave her a fist aid kit but made no attempt to heal her injuries magically as he had done anytime she had gotten hurt growing up. Rapunzel's only hope was that perhaps her hair would growl long enough to allow her to escape as painfully as it would be but about a 5 months before her seventeenth birthday the warlock arrived saying "Rapunzel Rapunzel, give me your hair." and when she allowed him to touch her hair he cut it at the forty foot march, about twenty feet too short for her to use to escape. Once a month he did this and her last hope to escape was burned at the bottom of the tower. Once she turned 17 the warlock stopped arriving for his weekly visits all together and her hair stopped growing as if by magic. Slowly and slowly Rapunzel went insane and decided to make a futile attempt to escape. She threw all the mattresses and pillows out her window followed by blankets and she grabbed the kitchen knife before tying one end of her hair to the leg of her bed. She slowly climbed out of her window and slowly worked her way down the wall. She almost got to a safe dropping distance but it was just to far. knowing the risk she still cut he hair and dropped to the ground. She was knocked out by the fall. She awoke a few days later in a bed, in a castle, next to a handsome prince who looked at her and said... "Your safe now, Mother and Father have missed you always. Now rest."
The Droppers
The ones who say they care.
The ones who say they are there to stay.
The ones who say who's good for you
And when you decide to take the risk and date another outside the group.
One they don't like.
One they don't trust.
The ones you know who will drop you.
Drop you and let you face it alone.
The ones who really didn't care
They never did.
So who cares that they dropped you
Because they didn't care for you.
A
We never got along as kids
We were in different crowds
But then things changed and we became friends
then we fell into crowds when we reached high school.
And drifted apart.
I hadnt heard your name in over a year.
Then came an email
to each teacher at our school
That said there had been an accident.
That said you hadnt made it.
The driver who we both love
May never forgive herself
I may never see her again
People have said she is dead.
But the driver is physically alive
But part of her heart died with you
Part of mine, Part of each teachers,
And part of each student at school.
RIP A
We will miss you forever
