And Before Breakfast
Sorrow turns to beauty
Mistakes evolve into adventure
Repetition develops into artistry
Complacency shifts to comfort
Indifference ripens to true love
Hatred transforms into mercy
I believe in fairies,
they are the light in the midst of the dark forests;
I believe in mermaids,
they are the treasures beyond the deepest seas;
I believe that trees could talk,
the wind carry their whispers;
I believe that the stars listen,
they fall from the sky to reach you;
I believe in the quiet magic around us,
you can feel it in the earth, in the water, wind, and fire;
I believe that every person is a magician,
and the strongest magic we possess is love.
"The only way to achieve the impossible, is to believe it is possible."
- Alice in Wonderland (2010)
I believe that the world is crisscrossed all over with invisible threads. One of the strongest of these connects my heart to yours.
I believe that somewhere inside me is a space in the shape of you that has always been. You nestle in perfectly there, filling a part of me that's gone so long empty that it makes me weep to feel your presence. No one else can occupy your space.
I believe that if I smile for no reason, it must be because you're thinking of me, so I think of you often that I might bring you smiles you never expect.
I believe that when you're suffering, my sleeping mind is trying to take it from you, and that's why I get nightmares.
I believe that if I try with all my might, I can love you hard enough to erase the worst of the terrible things that have been done to you, those dark things that have clawed into your soul and refuse to let go.
I believe that we can save one another.

The trees watch us, wondering why we no longer speak with them.
The ocean sings to us, wondering why we can no longer hear her.
The mountains wait for us, wondering when we will return.
The rivers rage at us, wondering when we will notice.
The icebergs roar at us, wondering when we will listen.
The earth cries to us, wondering if we will save her.

Everyone has the capacity to be good, to save the world, and to save themselves.
Everyone deserves a second chance. Even those who didn't ask for it.
This time when you say sorry you'll mean it.
