in the night
*
stay with me as the light dims slowly
keep your body close to mine
so I don't get cold
trace the lines of my skin
touch me where I need it the most
leave a mark on my soul
scrape my heart
so it beats faster
damage my fears and crack the walls

I don't know when I saw you last
But all I can think about is the past.
What were you thinking when I walked away?
Did you catch the words that I couldn't say?
Stepping away from what had been ours,
Leaving behind a bouquet of flowers
Fragile petals dropping one by one
Cut off so long from the warmth of the sun.
You couldn't help but break my heart,
And now I think I'm gonna come apart.
Told me you loved me but it was just a lie
But I'm too proud to let you see me cry.
Stepping away from what had been ours
Leaving behind a bouquet of flowers
Fragile petals crushed one by one
Hidden away from the warmth of the sun.
Oh,
Oh I am stepping away from what had been ours
Leaving for you a bouquet of flowers.

All the Angels -MCR
Dreaded phone call,
At the dead of night,
Raise out of bed,
Hurry to him.
He was brought away,
From the scene he made,
But it was our fault.
It was our fault,
He is gone,
Never to return,
Never to smile again.
Arrive to him,
Alone and guilty,
Watching him.
He only has minutes left,
Say goodbye.
He took his life,
The way he had promised,
If we left him alone,
And we left him alone.
It is our fault.
We should have,
Cared more,
Loved more,
Understood.
We all did it,
We are all sorry,
We are all guilty.
Find a better way,
To love,
Because we are all to blame.
He is dead because of us.
He is gone because of us.
We have killed him.
We are all to blame.

What I see:
Plugging in the microphone,
On the school stage,
A talent show.
With my friends,
The judges don't know,
What is gonna hit them,
In the next few minutes.
We are gonna play,
A different song,
Than we signed up for.
We begin our performance,
My Chem it is,
Vampire Money.
Volume at its highest,
I let a swear or two slip,
Ooops, sorry teachers.
The students are loving it,
The adults not so much,
I see some fellow MCR fans.
Screaming at the top of my lungs,
Playing piano,
Like my life depends on it.
My friend on the drums,
Singing as well.
A couple friends on guitars,
All jamming.
Having way to much fun.
Slightly realize after I sing each,
Verse, that the song,
Might not be appropriate.
Oh well...
Fuck their opinion,
Smile in their faces,
Play our best.
"1234, Crazy Instrumental Time!"
Stressing the parts,
That might be offensive.
Crowd begins to clap,
And sing along if they the words.
Dancing along the stage,
Enjoying myself,
Everyone is actually.
Best performance,
I know.
Lots of fun music,
My friends and I,
Are going crazy.
Gets really loud and pumped.
Realizes and apologizes,
To the adults and teachers,
Sarcastically of course.
Song ends,
We run.
Deathbeds
I can’t stop thinking
Why does my brain never stop?
And lately,
You are all it thinks about
You’re killing me
Making me think you’re mine
But you never will be
So why do I try?
I will never stop wanting you
You will never stop
Using that to your advantage
I can’t leave
I can’t move on
I want you
I will fight for you
Because it’s all I know how to do
It’s all I can do
It doesn’t matter
How many times I try to get away
I will always come back
I will always love you
No matter how much
I wish I didn’t
Deathbeds- Bring Me the Horizon
Meeting the Sky
I remember you
... or at least the feel of you
a heavy hug
playful toe massages
an itchy, overstuffed couch
and the sounds of you
jubuliant laughter
awed sighs
offers of lollipops
and the joy of being with you
safety
I love you
I love you
I love you
the words roll off my tongue
a mediation of acceptance
a mantra in memory
a desperate call to unwind time
I see you atop every ocean
at its meeting with the sky
someday our drums will sychronize
someday we’ll sail together

“City of the Dead- Eurielle”
(Using a part of my future series is what I’m imagining)
Note: Music link (https://youtu.be/5VInr-cSNNU)
It’s during the final battle when Gabriel and Lucifer are fighting over the Scroll of the Dead; trying to prevent the apocalypse from happening:
Gabriel, clad in his Soulsteel armor—it’s metal reflecting the flickering, fiery-red flames of Hell, showing the faces of the damned within—thrusted his blade into Lucifer’s chest; watching the blackened blood slowly weep from his enemy’s wound. Lucifer, a hand now clutching at his wound, smiles before arching his own blade down upon Gabriel’s only wing. With a scream, Gabriel lets go of his blade, his vision now turning red: his only lifeline to Heaven now cut, since an angel’s wings represented their divine status and their soul’s purity.
As Gabriel drifted into the darkness, his memories drifted towards the past: a young boy in the Garden of Eden, listening to Eve’s stories; then a teenager who sang with the other angels as another archangel was created; lastly, to a man who had found a brother in Lucifer. They became the best of friends until Lucifer had broken his vow and had fallen...
His memories then rushed towards the present: going from his death in front of the pearly gates in Heaven, to being reborn. He remembered that moment quite vividly... Upon his first death, he entered a city for lost souls: the city shimmering like a thousand suns upon a dark and vast lake. As he arrived at its port, he had stood in awe: he’d never seen anything like it. In the distance, Gabriel could see a lighthouse—its signal a beacon of hope to the souls that were, or had, become lost in the sea known as life. Lost himself, he wondered how he had even made it here—on the Spiritual plane—considering the last thing he remembered, was being pierced by a sword...
It seemed like several hours, while walking through the city, before he heard a soft voice calling—he assumed—his name.
“Gabriel,” the voice called softly, drifting on the wind. “Gabriel...”
“What?” Gabriel replied, looking for the source of the voice, for it seemed to surround him—engulfing him in a warm embrace. “What do you want?”
“Please, come back Gabriel. I need you.” The voice responded, wrapping around him tighter, pulsating as the wind became hotter with every second.
“Why? Who are you?”
”I am you, Gabriel. Archangel of Revelation, Messenger to the Virgin Mary, Guardian of the Gates. Horn caller. You are me, and I am you...Please return...” The voice spoke, before the wind surrounding Gabriel became so constricting, the wind felt like it was burning his flesh from the friction. Gabriel didn’t know what to do: fear pulled at him for some unknown reason. What was he afraid of? Death? No...he thought. He wasn’t afraid of death, he was afraid of life. Aftraid of living and having to fight a never ending battle against evil; against his foe and once best friend: Lucifer.
Upon his revelation, Gabriel tried to fight the calling, but it was to no avail. The wind had him surrounded—with no way to escape—and filled him with a heat that even a cool breeze couldn’t relieve. It was the heat of life, of living. Gabriel, was coming back from the dead...for he still had a job to do.

No Tears Left To Cry
There's no more time,
Left to cry.
Its only time,
To quit the tides.
And swim into the sea,
Let the waves know,
That we are ready.
Take the oceans,
With a storm.
Be a potion,
No one has worn.
Spray the world,
With unity.
Dry those tears,
And just hug me.
