That One Person
You ever get that feeling when you see someone and they send tingles down your spine? Give you butterflies throughout your body and bubbles in your brain?
That one person who can make you lose composure, kose your train of though, and forget your voice.
You know that feeling of joy and laughter. Smiles and giggles when you’re with the one you love most?
Because I don’t.
And I doubt I ever will.
Hmmm?
Ever get that feeling,
That no matter how hard you try to explain something to someone that they will redouble their efforts so as not only not listen, but make sure whatever you have to say is neither understood nor employed by anyone else.
That there are people who will work with infinite ingenuity so as to claim the title of permanently unemployed to reap benefits financed by the sweat of others, more easily obtained by their own productivity.
That there is a vault of great ideas, concepts, and plans languishing in a dark recess of a filing cabinet simply because someone either does not understand the brilliance or has yet to conjure a scheme in which they can profit or control the work of others.
There is a plan for the Universe, by which all we can know and learn unveils itself in microscopic portions, almost invisible to the naked eye, and impossible to comprehend individually unless scrutinized by a tormented soul devout in purpose and singular in intent.
There are people who cannot tolerate the well-being of others; even those they never encountered nor ever will.

Or a crackle in your cartiledge?
The tingle in your tendons?
Like a failed radio signal moving along your neck to your brain?

For a brief moment

The faint reminder that years ago you experienced
whiplash
Glass Kingdom
Talking to someone
you don't normally speak with
ever get that feeling
they stand with the "them"
the everyone else
who sees the white picket fences
instead of the featherheaded dandelions
that you're the odd one out
living in a palace of glass
whose wavering walls
make everything look different
or speak to the weird one
who's never quite on the same page
or maybe never even had
the same edition
then you get the suspicion
barest hint of a feeling
as you build bridges to discover
there was never a chasm to cross
the feeling of glass bridges spanning
glass palaces in glass worlds
everyone an emperor in their snowglobe
kingdom locked away behind the crystal
walls who stretch perspective just enough
to make their presence known
and you can't help but wonder who sees
the glass, who sees through it to our kernel
of self, who sees beyond to other kingdoms
without the wavering glass distorting their view
who can see the glass at all - do we know
it's there, or do we dream
did we build our walls or did they build us
are they a lens to focus us or a prism
to break us apart or a prison to escape
a dream we forgot we had
A warm feeling
Ever get that warm feeling inside when you are with someone you love? When you are having fun with family? Or maybe when your dog is licking your face after your vigorous run? Some think that this feeling is joy, but what if it wasn't? Surely by now you've heard about how you get a chilling feeling when their is somehting eerie going on or a "ghost" in the room. This is a warning. When that warm fuzzy feeling creeps in, push it away. That's a demon preying on your moment of weakness. When we are happy, we let our guard down. That is when they come. They writhe their way through the barrier and try to take over. The warm feeling you feel is the fire from hell and the anger and want of the demon. Ever wonder why people go crazy? Why serial killers become serial killers? It is because a demon broke through in a moment of weakness. They couldn't fight it. I couldn't fight it. By the time you read this, I will no longer be me. I just wanted to see my best friend again. I was so full of joy when I went to visist her in the first time in two years. I leave you with this warning so you may evade your fate. Fight the warm feeling. Push it down...before it's too late.
Chill at night
Ever get that feeling
Of talking to pastel yellow paint of walls and waving windows wondering if they would echo back to you
Of trying ot sleep face down with your hands and feet dangling, a chilling cold felt in your hands touched by the rotting woman underneath the bed
Of riding a bus, feeling a gut wrenching scene of crashing, hearing blood-curling screams, gore and flying bullets shot by the man sitting beside you
Of falling out of the train, cramped on the door with people, a hundred feet above ground
Of seeing the face of the dead you saw in the funeral coming back to you in dreams
Of glimpsing a part of your memories that may or may not happened but you knew your reliving everything, knowing how it will end.
Of people seeing you, knowing, jugding behind your back that you are living a nightmare
Wearing a mask that you show to people, trying to live a normal life
Maybe you can fade in the background
And not be seen
But who knows what you see at night
Maybe they knew, by your breathing, your twitch, your talk, your smile, your lean in the chair, your itch, your tilt of the head, your eyes
Your eyes, it’s the window of your soul
You’ve closed your eyes but the opened windows sends a chill at night
