Reviews for Fellow Authors
As writers, we are all keenly and painfully aware that getting a foot in the door of literature (without being drowned out by an angry sea of buffeted allies-made enemies by way of the stress of competition) is an insurmountable feat, or at least that it would be, without our due recognition of contemporary genius in our midst. Thus your instructions are as follows: Pluck out one of your favorite writers on theProse.com (preferably one who has performed the preliminary task of writing a novel or other such soul-reaching ejaculate ready for publication) and write a review of their work.
Earworm: Country eddition
I personally dont like country but the shop i work at plays nothing but that and i'm not gonna lie some of the songs have been growing on me. So for this challenge post a country song that you didn't think you'd like but it ended up growing on you the more you listened to it.
I've seen a few challenges where you have to create an ad... So here we go: Create an ad for my book. Make it to where YOU want to buy it. If you need some info, I'll be providing a post on my page with info on it. You can include my Facebook and blog in the ad too. The winner will be decided by the most likes and the prize is, you get to know you had the most compelling ad and helped a struggling author! Lol
Pick any piece of art, doesn't matter if it's a renaissance piece, a classic one, a modern one, and review it. Explain how you interpret it, what it makes you feel. Also, attach a photograph of the piece, or atleast a link to it. The title should be the name of the piece (and don't forget to tag me in the comments :) Have fun!
I would like everybody to try this. There is an episode of an old show called A Different World, and in this particular episode it deals with racism. This episode is on Youtube and divided into six parts. What I would like is for everyone to take the time to watch the episode and reflect on your thoughts of it and how it translates, or how relevant it is, to current events. Fill free to express however you please.

Overlooked Film Recommendation
Tell me about an old movie you love - define "old" how you like, but nothing 21st century - and explain why more people ought to watch it. Looking for hidden gems over headliners, so try to pick movies you feel like the average person might not have heard of. Basically, Kirk Douglas died and I feel sad I haven't watched more than I have, and it makes me wanna watch and talk about movies. And while plot points are prolly essential, no spoilers :)
Well I guess they made a movie about Morbius, the Living Vampire. Don't know who that is? Neither do I. All I know is that he's some kind of vampire in Marvel comics. So for this challenge, to any comic book fans out there, what comic book character or series should be made into a movie next and why? It can be from any comic book company. Marvel. DC. Image. Dark Horse. Webcomics. Any thing you can think of. It must be something that hasn't had their own adaptation yet.
