Dream Part 1
Everyone at the airport is in a rush. Hurrying and hoping to get a place in the plane. The end of the outside world is near. Every radio, every tv is tuned in on the disaster. World War 3 has broke out and along with global climate change, extreme and deadly weather. The world seems to be ending, to be in calamity. However, there is a hidden peaceful santuary island everyone wants to go to. Despite government efforts to make many safe places, only the island was sought through. Only a small portion of the best kind of people can retreat to the paradise. The criteria are as follows; must have something to offer (i.e. artistic talent, scientific research, constuction, math, etc....), must be kind, hopeful, innovative, motivated, and above all peaceful. While these specifications seem quite broad, it is much more complicated than I know. What I do know is that I got in! Along with my direct family and dog. It breaks my heart knowing I am leaving behind everyone, everything. My home town, family, friends, school. But it is the opportunity to live and survive that I look to. Currently, my grandma, puppy, and I are rushing to the gate. We arrive just on time and climb into the back of a small outdated plane.
"This cannot be right!" my grandma said, irriated with the quality of the plane.
Before she could complain more a flight attendant cuts in,"I assure you ma'am, this is the right plane but due to the circumstances, we decided a small plane is more..." the attendant whispers "discreet."
Hesitantly, my grandma passes through. When we got to the plane, the pilot came bearing more bad news, "Hello ladies! I am sooo sorry but we have run out of seats... If you want, we can sit you back with the animals."
"This is ridiculous" said my grandma hysterically as she flailed her arms in the air.
"Ma'am I apologize and to make it up we will provide you with complimentary drinks!"
At this she setteled and reluctantly got on board.
The plane ride was worse than we could have previously imagined. Thunderstorms, hurricanes, and tidal waves all threatened our measly plane and our existence. Due to the extreme weather, the flight attendants were calming passengers and helping the pilots rather than bringing us free drinks. To make it even worse, we got assigned to watch the animals. Every single one. What was described as a seemingly easy task turned out to be frusterating and difficult. During the ride a monkey escaped and let every single animal free. My dog went berserk knocking over empty cages. The cold temperature of the plane had successfully frozen a green chameleon, a black cat, and a few small bats. While struggling to put the pigs, rats, and mice back in their rightful places, my dog escaped and began running to the front of the plane. I dropped what I was doing, knowing Chip was going to attack the pilot. Grabbing Chip in a split second I ran back to the animals. When I got back my grandma had finally gotten most of them back. Accidently stepping on the frozen chameleon it shattered. I didn't have time to cry about murdering the reptile so I kept going. We stored Chip and the other animals safely and by that time we noticed that our destination was in sight. A high tech protective shield protected the island from the storms and enormous tidal waves. Crashing against the shield, the tidal waves would disperse one after another. Despite the apparent solidity of the islands shield, our plane passed through with relative ease. Giving us a smooth and angst free landing.

This is a real dream I had a while back but only about half of the story. I plan on writing part 2 sometime soon. I really like writing about my dreams because I remember a grand portion of them quite vividly. Hope you all like it!
Dying Leaves
Everything, every leaf eventually passes on and dies.
Living life, shades changing from bright green, to yellow, to brown and finally falling gracefully to the ground.
Most fear their day but when they are ready, they let go.
Letting go of the fear.
So they can let go of the pain.
For some leaves acceptance is difficult so they find comfort in their ideas.
Maybe the season after they fall, they will grow back brand new in the same place.
Or maybe they fly on to a better place.
Their ideas spread hope but not without fear, other leaves worry that they will disappear.
The poor leaves believe they will meet their greatest fears.
Despite a leafs' questionings, the true answer is hard to find.
Guess we just have to wait till we cross that finish line.

1 Dollar
What does 1 dollar mean?
As a child, a dollar a day earned for doing daily menial tasks.
Spending dollars on extra treats & trinkets.
Grown up, the first dollar earned from a small business proudly hung on the wall.
Hopefully the business doesn't cave in and fall.
As a mother, the dollar menu is the go to for feeding the family
You can buy almost anything at the dollar store.
What was that phrase?
A dollar a day keeps the doctor away?
Ambitiously spending a dollar on a chance investment.
Hoping for the day to claim a million to our names.
Or even helping the community through a small simple gift.
Endless possibilities are available from a simple dollar.
I was writing this for a challenge prompt but realized I can't enter haha. I thought I'd still publish it so here it is. It's supposed to be somewhat nonsensical. Enjoy!

The First Attack
Iris
I had weapons and armory to horses in the stable. I watched the men and women in the town of Shelldera, from my home. One fine sunny day, I watched my parents leave our home in a horse- drawn carriage to go on some kind of work-related business that they had to attend to, as I waved them good-bye. I won’t know for sure until they get back. I was at home by myself for a few hours when IT appeared near my home and disappeared a few seconds later. My life was ruined by IT when it decided to appear on the day my parents left. Nobody knew why a random white wolf with flame markings appeared. I knew that he wasn’t just a normal wolf of any kind, he was known as the Flame Wolf. It had one purpose, and that purpose was to find the assigned target and take it to the Devil. I knew who the next target was since I kept up with the disappearances of certain families and friends. I made myself the next target on accident. I didn’t mean to. I became the next target because I kept up with certain pieces of evidence that shouldn’t have made sense at all. The only good thing was that I knew there was one way to get out of being the target. I had to defeat him fair and square during battle. I wrote a note for my parents to find, if I didn’t make it out alive, so I hid it under my bed, only letting a corner of the paper show. I turned myself into my Black Draginucous form, turned and looked at my bedroom for one last time. I flew to the park and looked for the Flame Wolf. I found him and landed a few yards away from him. I noticed he was pacing back and forth.
He growled and spoke in Galician with a big grin when he saw me, “Obxecto adquirido. Listo para levar. Imos, débil Daru Daru!! Target Acquired. Ready to take. Let’s go, weakling Daru Daru!”
“Non!! Non vou!! No!! I will not go!!” I spoke back in Galician as I turned into my Elf form with my Dragon Blood Armor on.
I grabbed my Finger claws, put them on and grabbed my spear. I took my stance and waved for the Flame Wolf to make the first move. The Flame Wolf howled, and multiple skeletons popped out of the ground and surrounded me. I started fighting the skeletons of past wolves, elves and Draginucous. I slashed and swung as bones flew every which way you could imagine. I kept fighting the skeletons until there were no more. I faced the Flame Wolf and he growled at me. He lunged at me and I dodged his attack. He spun around and lunged at me again, mouth wide open. I blocked his bite attack with my spear as he latched onto the spear. He started to gnaw on it when I slammed him onto the ground. He yelped, let go of the spear and stood up as I backed away a little bit. I spun around to walk away from him when he knelt down. I didn’t notice that The Flame Wolf was sneaking up on me until the last second. Before I could hit him back, he bit my lower left arm. I screamed and fell to my knees as I held my lower arm.
“Ti ... enganaches. You... you cheated.” I said as my vision started to fade to black and my eyes turned to a dull and lifeless color.
The Flame Wolf walked up to me and said, “Nunca son xusto. A miña picadura é peor que a miña casca. I am never fair. My bite is worse than my bark.”
He howled but, I grabbed the Flame Wolf by the neck and said, “Meus ... os meus pais non ... non estarán contentos con isto. My... my parents will not… not be happy about this.”
I dropped to the ground completely, my hand let go of his neck. I knew my helmet fell off and I watched it roll toward a tree. The Flame Wolf shook and howled again. Hands made of flesh came up, grabbed my body, and took it to the Under World. The Flame Wolf disappeared because his work was complete.
The Next Day (Narrator)
It was a beautiful, sunny day as a young man named Sylvyr Petsandoral, was walking in the park and walked near one of the trees to cool down. He suddenly, stumbled over something and looked down to see a helmet made of Dragon Blood. He immediately knew who it belonged to, Iris Freedom. Sylvyr picked it up and held onto it for her parents. When her parents got back about a week later, Sylvyr walked over to her parent’s home and knocked on the door. Her father answered the door and looked at Sylvyr a little confused. Her father was puzzled on why Sylvyr was there.
“Tara Diera. I found something that belongs to your daughter.” Sylvyr said as he grabbed something from the bag he was carrying.
Sylvyr showed him the helmet he had found. Iris’s father took the helmet from the young man. He thanked Sylvyr and closed the door. He took it inside for her mother to see. When she saw Iris’s helmet, she ran upstairs to Iris’s bedroom to see if their little girl was there. She was wrong and she laid across Iris’s bed, crying her eyes out. Meanwhile downstairs, he set the helmet onto the kitchen counter and threw his dagger at a wall, angrily. He paced the floor, downstairs plotting his revenge against whoever took his sweet and innocent daughter. He knew that whoever took her, would pay for that was a grave mistake they made.
‘Who would do such a thing to my daughter? Who could have taken her? Why would they take her? Who in their right mind would take her? Lolo’s missing and now Iris is gone. Whoever did this is going to pay for this grave mistake, whoever made it.’ Tara thought to himself as he paced in the kitchen.
