Re-Worded
It’s love, only trying to emphasize
Now embarrased that I plagiarized...
Honey, just frame it a dedicated
Sonnet of pretty, poetic paraphrase
I tried so cleverly to twist it
Really thought youd’ve missed it
And so sure, you’ve read it before
Too your sorely stored, boring avail
As if Hallmark had a clearance sale
But tell me dear, have you ever
Heard it Re-Worded quite so well?
Bookmark my heart where it belongs
Forget ’bout my words gone wrong
And let’s just make the sweetest love
Duet, an entirely new, unique song
Where that ready read, baby
Blows you ’way like a bomb
Yet renders you ever so gently as
A mural of tranquil summer swans
It’s love, only trying to emphasize
Hearts, unlike words, never plagiarize...
The Changing and the Changed
When I was a child, I looked upon my shadow on the ground.
The sun on my back, it warmed me, and then hid behind the clouds.
When I was a boy, I found myself caught up in the rain.
The wet on my back, it chilled me, ’till I was home again.
When I was a man, I lost myself in a swell of filth and fog.
The load on my back, it hobbled me, ’till love loosed me from its bond.
In Your Heart I Found A Halo
In your heart I found a halo gifted from above.
The nimbus kept your virtues, the greatest which was love.
In prying, I looked into, to see what I could see, but your heart was much too brilliant, and it only blinded me.
In your eyes I saw the ocean, untroubled, calm and sure. I ventured out upon it, to find its farthest shore.
But little did I fancy, how far and deep and wide, your eyes would dare to take me, beyond the farthest tide.
In your voice I heard a song, so sweet and soft and pure. I couldn’t help but listen, until I knew for sure.
That an angel stood before me, for that I had no doubt. Your voice rose to a chorus, and the world was blotted out.
In your form I saw perfection, a Phoenix flying high. Each curve the soul of beauty, each line the painter’s pride.
And to this I bear witness, that never will I see, a shape so warm and lovely as yours will always be.
My Debt
How many ways can I say I love you?
How many ways can I say amen?
So many times its been that you’ve shown me, that I’m forever in your debt.
I can never stop claiming how much you mean to me. I can never stop feeling this way.
Your love is a never ending mystery, I’ll pursue ’till my dying day.
Laws Of (E)motion.
1.) Why would the office push at someone who is currently not in motion. If the one side decides to not act in any way, then how far can the one person go before the dam cracks and then the volcano erupts.
2.) If the one side keeps placing lots of pressure, how far can the other party go before they lose it?
[ Frustration= mind x action.]
(The greater the action of words, at which the mind may remain the same~ the frustration level will most likely increase).
3.) For every moment and time of the same event, there will be an equal reaction. Unless the one side decides to just let it go and finds peace.
