-Watchers by Dean Koontz
NONFICTION:
-The Man-Eaters of Tsavo by John Henry Patterson

-Rex Appeal: The Amazing Story of Sue, the Dinosaur That Changed Science, the Law, and My Life by Peter Larson and Kristin Donnan
My Top 3
"A Brave New World" - Shows the dangerous side of pleasure.
"To Have and To Have Not" - Shows how desperate times can push anyone to their limit.
"Homage to Catalonia" - Shows how quickly a Just Cause can turn evil and those you thought were your allies. Can be a bigger threat than the enemy.
The Best of the Best
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee: amazing commentary on society and man’s hypocrispy and ignorance. Atticus Finch is my all-time hero.
Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë: the embodiment of love, death, and the beyond wrapped securely in one darkly moving novel.
The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran: Lyrically beautiful and moving fables or prose exemplifying God, man, and love.
Three Books and Authors That I Recommend
1. Tainted Moonlight by Erin Kelly
A great werewolf storyline written by a close friend of my family. This book has a great mix of suspense, humor, and horror. The werewolf senses are wonderfully written as well. The storyline is ongoing and worth jumping into!

2. Ordinary Souls by J.S. Bailey
A great collection of supernatural/horror short stories that are well worth checking out. I met the author at an anime convention, and she is super nice!

3. Through Storm And Night by Lauren Jankowski
A great fantasy story with quite the cliffhanger ending. I also met this super cool author at an anime convention.

Toppers Overall ~
1. The Female American; Or, the Adventures of Unca Eliza Winkfield
by ANONYMOUS - Unca Eliza Winkfield, Pseud. (1767)
(CHAP. III.) --> "...What credentials had I to support the novel doctrines that I was to introduce? How was I to combat old opinions, handed down from father to son, received with reverence, and, no doubt, maintained with obstinacy? What advantage would not all these difficulties give the priests over me, among an ignorant and deluded people? and what might not exasperated bigotry prompt them to? nah, I knew not, but they might even think it necessary and right to destroy one who should dare to deny the deity of the sun, and expose the absurdity of their religion..."

2. Being There
by Jerzy Kosiński. (1970)
(~) --> "He did not have to be afraid, for everything that happened had its sequel, and the best that he could do was to wait patiently for his own forthcoming appearance."

3. Anthem
by Ayn Rand. (1938)
(PART NINE) -->"There is some error, one frightful error, in the thinking of men. What is that error? We do not know, but the knowledge struggles within us, struggles to be born. Today, the Golden One stopped suddenly and said: ..."
