where is the line
between sinner and saint?
does vengeance make you sick
or does it make you great?
when they take my eye,
is it right to sit and wait?
shouldn't i strike back
so we may meet the same fate?
if the whole world is blind,
is it really that bad?
should appearances matter?
should we be afraid of
the dark?
should we let ancient philosophies
tell us how to light our spark?
why can't we think
of a better way to fight
than by judging who's wrong
and which one is right?
can't we just let them live
without condemning their life?
is there a way to be free
from the stigma of strife?
and will it ever be enough
to satisfy?
will you be satisfied
if you take just an eye?
or will you keep taking and taking
until the whole world is blind?
Two-eyed cyclops
we scratch our necks, and try to remember. Masssge the scalp, the bridge of our nose, the temples. But memory doesnt work like that and the fingers get tired of scratching.
How did we get to this point. Mutually Assured Blindness was supposed to put an end to it all, a permanent border to our insanity. But no. We had to poke. We had to push buttons. One of us, has confidence. As if he is a three-eyed cyclop. Losing one, he can still get by , and terrorize the others, who will lose at least one eyeball in the conflgration.
Then there are the wisened cyclops, who are already blind, and couldnt care less of such retaliatory doctrine. Couldn't some one settle for a tooth for a tooth? A hair follical for a hair follical? Why eyes?
The great walrus now rests upon the iceberg, and considers us mercilessly. We are now blind and easy pray. We'll hear him coming, but for the noise we're making.
You are doing something bad to him because he did the same to you.
You hate him for that ,you considered him evil will you hate yourself too?
Will you consider yourself evil too? Because you did the same thing that he did to you the thing that you considered bad.
Prison guard tortured the prisoner for many years one day prisoers took control over the prison they caught all the guards. All the prisoners have lot of anger in them one suggested that they should torture the guards as they torture them other asked that if he hated guards for that he said yes than the other one said that would you not hate youself then because you are doing the same thing that they did to him one knocked this one out and they tortured the guards.
In the Name of Love
I knew a Savior, the Second of God,
Who came, and, in love, with ultimate command,
Taught us to bear suffering, the rod
of oppression, withstand
and yet I wonder if, should all to death their life,
losing, one by one, eye by eye,
Should not the Saint and Sinner, too,
Accomplish little, but die?
Still, I know, in loss of life,
Our Savior in this partook.
For in falling down in the name of Love
His own life He forsook.
And why can't we, His Bride,
Lose our eyes for love,
for yet they are only eyes!
Me thinks its for the sake of Pride
That we dare not go dancing blind-
Sightless, yes, this we'd be,
But it isn't for this world we need to see.
Blind retribution seeking solace; a sort of spectacle we put on to feed the monstrosities that demand their voracious appetites be sate; we feed with vigor--killings and maiming, a buffet of limbs and gore. The human heart corrupted by darkness, slowly our humanity attenuates until it is no more.
Eye For Eye
"Vengence is mine" said God.
Meanwhile this human being and that one couldn't see him and humanity doesn't always do the greatest job of listening to the omnipetint being in the room.
Let the punishment fit the crime, Eye for eye. It was thought to be justice until humanity somehow mixed up justice and revenge. Can we please remember that's only one eye for each one eye? Of course leave the humans to it and they start forgetting that ratio. No wonder so many people were going blind.
