A Mother’s Love

Oh baby mine, what can I do?

The darkness has a hold of you-

Bubonic plague, remove the child-

Unloose the babe you have defiled!

Delivery of lifelessness

Is what you left as I confess

A ghost is all that you may see,

However, with eternity

Amazing secrets are revealed.

The truth released is not concealed,

And I am here to challenge Death-

Return my child the gift of breath,

For I am pressing in to steal

The life you take and as I heal

An infant, come and wrestle me-

Oh Death, I offer openly-

Return the fullness of his health,

And I will garnish you with wealth.

You cannot bargain with a ghost?

Contentious fool, you choose to boast?

Unfortunate that you decline.

Remorse shall be your concubine!

The baby you have come to kill

I cannot pass into your will.

Prepare to meet a different fate-

Relinquish him from heaven's gate!

Unhallowed beast, a robe adorned

Is nothing to a woman scorned

For fury of a hellish Saint

Enrages black, the color, quaint,

About your body, nothing new.

Oh yes, my god, I know the view-

A mass of skeletons connive

Unless, of course, I did survive

To cling to life, a purpose, serve

The baby who does not deserve

To forfeit life at your behest-

Oh really, now I pass the test?

And what, I wonder, willingly,

Consider you eternally?

Oh, God above does not agree,

And though a pagan and a tree

Consist of who I used to be,

Destruction of this devilry

Enlists a mother, riddled plea-

Corrupting sickness now must flee!

Away and haunt us here no more-

The child my heart and soul adore

Escapes your grip as in a word,

Resists the measure he has heard,

For Odin's sake, the ravens fly,

Insisting that no child shall die-

Oh Death, take me and haul me off-

No longer shall my baby cough!

Around him, see my light engage,

And though your grimace full of rage

I cannot see in skull bound teeth,

I feel your presence like a wreath

About my neck hung like a noose-

Away! My child is free; is loose!

The measure of the rising sun

Ensures me now your wrath is done

For we are fading in the light,

And as we go, I win the fight.

A baby coos; a nurse maid calls,

So long, sweet boy, your mother falls

As Death and I disperse beyond,

Forever know we have a bond.

A knight arriving joins the fray;

Enables you for brighter days.

Unknown dimensions call me north,

And still I linger back and forth.

A mother's love can conquer all,

So as I pass beyond the wall,

The mark upon your heart I give

Repels the plague that you may live.

Remember me and do not grieve-

I smile as Death and I must leave.

Oh baby mine, forget me not.

A corpse may wither, stink, and rot,

However love is never far-

A simple thought and where you are

So, too, am I- now rest my dear,

And never worry, fret, or fear

Or delve into the realm of strife.

I leave you with the gift of life ...

The Re-Education of Miss Soumya

He galloped into her life on white horse

but oh, he was dark and disarming.

The naïve and impressionable Miss Soumya

took the fatal first look, found him charming.

He wooed her and cooed her for succulent feast

aroused by round breast and mouthwatering skin.

Creamy white thighs and open moist mouth -

all screamed and begged him to canter right in.

Although sensuality radiated from her every pore,

she proclaimed he must wait till they marry.

He must talk to her Papa and ask for her hand

but libidinous hot man wasn’t willing to tarry.

“Oh no,” she screamed as she fought for her purity,

he ripped off her dainties, exposing bounty therein.

She scratched and pled and begged him to leave

but his beautiful dark body committed his sin.

Her innocence tarnished, she was surprised to find

that she enjoyed the violation, her whole body quivered.

As he turned his back and cavalierly rode off on his horse,

she thought lustfully of her loss of virtue and shivered.

Of one thing, Miss Soumya was certain -

she would lure him once again to her bed.

She sent him a note by fast homing pigeon and

she was ready for him on white quilted spread.

He was so aroused as he galloped back on white steed

envisioning the plunder of her luscious body once more

he was mounted and ready as he ravished her core

but the insolent man had no inkling what was in store.

The virginal lady tasted him with pink tongue all over

took charge, laid him on back, tied hands with white silk

used fingers and moist mouth to bring him to peak

slipped out silver dagger, said, “I’ve no need of your ilk!”

She stabbed him and stabbed him, in complete fury

watched in fascination as bedding turned red

but she knew in her heart, her desire had ignited

she must find one more cocky man to darken her bed.

Monachus Maximus the continued education of Miss Soumya

Monachus Maximus

This Dominus of the Lotus

The son of a prominent senator of Rome, he knew what was expected of him, but he did not want to follow in his fathers footsteps and become a politician.

He had his own destiny willed by Jupiter himself! He wanted to fight in the arena spill blood upon the sands and fight for glory.

One beautiful day riding his favorite mount a coal black Arabian steed fiery eyes and speed that would match Mercury. Accompanying Monachus his best friend Firmus, they tore through the countryside!

This would not not be like any other day, today would shape the course of three young people's lives.

Riding past his fathers western villa the two strapping young men spied an entourage traveling from the east. The caravan carried spices and goods from the eastern provinces. But the crown jewel was the princess Miss Soumya, this dark eyed beauty with fair skin caught the eye and arrested the attention of these two handsome specimens of manly sinew.

Monachus is taken aback Firmus grabs him back into reality! Someone is smitten I see says Firmus. I must meet her exclaims Monachus! Invite her to your villa Firmus says. I will Monachus said. They push their steeds to the limit rushing to meet her.

Later that night they receive their guests for an evening of Roman pleasures. They toast the gods drinking wine til late evening. Soumya oiled perfumed skin is so enticing. Monachus's hands touch forbidden flesh others only dare dream about, silken skin eases through his fingertips. She sits astride his lap and feels his pride swollen. She thinks to herself I will dispatch him as I done the other. Soumya reaches up and grabs her hairpin. Quickly she thrust it to his eye, only to hesitate as she feels the steel blade of his dagger against her throat. As they hold each other at bay, never missing their rhythms, she grinds away her concerns.

There excitement reaches a fevered pitch, that to rival only the great Colosseum! They smirk as they take one another! They can hear the crowd roaring as they reach their climax! Soumya whispers in his ear, we will meet again. Monachus replied of this I am sure my dear!

Unknown

I choose you @zikeda. I have this poem fragment that just stalled for me and hoping you might breathe some life into it. If not re-gift it or tell me to jump in a lake.

So the fragment:

Bright dark haired angel

Sitting in the temple aisle

Is that china cup you hold,

an offering or supplication?

Hello @tylasmith. I love how you write and I'm sure you'll do great with this one!

I had this idea where a man and his wife have learned that there is a ghost of a dead girl and her hamster living in their house, and they are going to confront her and ask why she's there.

I hope you do something awesome with it and tag  me so I can read it.
