Final Preparations
"You have the ability to use my fire spell, and it will be stronger than the one I cast earlier."
"That's right Essie." Wasila said triumphantly. "Your spell was strong enough to kill Tate, and I would have been toast too if I hadn't borrowed Rick's healing grenade. Imagine the destruction I can cause when I use it!"
The Pirate leaped at Wasila and plunged his lit up laser sword into her chest. After retrieving his weapon, Wasila fell face first into the sand.
"Pirate, I think you just saved us." Essie said in a tone that was grateful and terrified. "But I didn't expect such an abrupt kill from you."
"I know that looked cruel, but my swords are connected to the Reflection Dimension." The Pirate replied gently. "She would be transferred there fully healed if this was the real world. However, she isn't done yet Essie."
Wasila stood up and smiled at her opponents, with no signs of being stabbed a moment ago.
"You knew I had one more healing grenade left from Janet, and attacked in order to force me to use it, right Pirate?"
"Indeed." The Pirate smiled. "Now the next time one of us falls, it will be for good. So let's end this Wasila. Do your worst!"
"But of course." Wasila smiled evilly as two lit up laser swords appeared in her hands.
"Heh, I knew you could absorb and use magic spells that you had been attacked with, but I didn't know that applied to regular weapons too." The Pirate grinned.
"That's right, any attack made against me not only becomes my own, but is more powerful when I wield it. You two can step down any time. You both should be proud of how hard you fought."
"Not a chance." Essie said boldly. "Even if we can't avoid defeat, I will give it my best to the very end. How about you, Pirate?"
"Absolutely!" The Pirate said enthusiastically, entering a fighting stance with his blades. "By the way Essie, how is your energy flow as far as magic is concerned?"
"I've got enough left for one more spell Pirate. And the one I have in mind will help us with our last stand."
