...10 days of Halloween... GOB #1
As we are in the 'ber' months, I'd like to start a little fall/winter mixer of sorts.
Each day, starting now- I will post a way to interact as we count down to one of the most anticipated days of the year. As the game moves on, the prompts may get a bit more TRICKy--but for those who participate, a TREAT will be in-store...
Today... use the portal of 'Haiku'
I will share our opening game's art on the discord, or you can swipe it from here. Use this AI created jack-o-lantern patch as your muse for your post banner (however you'd like to line it up or format it) then create a dual Haiku- the first reflecting on the image, and the second declaring your entry into GOB!!!
Available points for play one:
+One point for playing day of posting
+One point for post with the most likes
+One point for whichever post I favor
..... as play goes on can you lose a point if you miss a direction or clue?? hmm
Don't worry, I will be keeping score
To those who will be participating-
Welcome to the Games Of Bers!!

National Haiku Day was April 17th ... the object of course - write a Haiku!
A Haiku is usually about nature and beauty as well as all things natural -- It is three lines long and the syllables run as such 5 - 7 - 5 ... give this your best shot and be sure to tag me in the comment box as @Danceinsilence, otherwise I may end up missing a good read. I have shortened the normal deadline of 30 days to 14. There will be a Haiku Sensei Award.

The "Ukiah"
The traditional Haiku is written standard 5 - 7 - 5 syllables, but what if your dyscalculia led you to accidentally mix that up and write 7 - 5- 7 syllables instead?
"Haiku" backwards turns out to be "Ukiah" - a Native American term meaning "deep valley".
Share your own "deep valley" of inspiration, thoughts or wisdom. There are never any losers, only those who miss out on fun challenges!
Haiku Challenge - They say: No guts, no glory. Do you have it in you to do this one? How concise can you make history?
This ain’t no ordinary Haiku, Prosers. I have listed six events in history. Pick one and do the best Haiku possible.
They are Caesar, death of Elvis and the telephone. Man on the Moon landing, the Nuclear Bomb and Jonas Salk/ Polio Vaccine.Pick one then do a Haiku, three lines, 5-7-5 (syllables worth of words).
Because it must be a minimum of 15 words, you can place hashtags under your work if need be ... I will choose the winner and remember to tag me only in the comment box as: @Danceinsilence.
